Creative Japan has rolled out the Travelsound i50, a rather handy and stylish portable speaker system for the second-generation iPod shuffle.

9to5Mac has posted what are allegedly photos of the upcoming iPod nano. The units depicted in the photos are consistent with earlier rumors - basically shorter iPod nanos, close to a current nano with nearly all of the space between the clickwheel and the screen removed.

DCT out of Korea has rolled out what's without doubt the best set of iPod speakers you'll ever carry on your keychain: the i.dear Wood Speaker. These diminutive units are less than one cubic inch in volume, crafted from natural hardwood, and can be used with a PC via USB or an iPod or other device via standard headphone jack. The i.dear offers about 5 hours of playtime from its built-in rechargeable battery per USB charge.

MacRumors recently received three short videos demonstrating what is reportedly a new iPod nano user interface (originally thought to be a 6G iPod user interface) featuring iPhone-like animated eye-candy. The story, along with the videos, was removed from the website after a call from Apple Legal in the wee hours of the morning.
