This first iPod virus, known as Podloso, is a proof-of-concept that poses no actual threat - it performs no real malicious actions and is unable to spread. It's rather important to note, however, that almost all iPods are immune to this virus, as Podloso only is able to infect iPods running iPod Linux, which represents a rather small percentage of iPods in the world.

This is easily one of the more impressive hacks we've seen here at iPod Hacks. Obviously, this is a drill not intended for the feint of heart. For those bold enough, however, there's real potential for creating a rather unique and appealing uber-mini. Good show.
